I have been fortunate enough to be involved competitively in sports such as Swimming, Gymnastics, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Diving, Water Polo, Synchronised Swimming, Netball, Track & Field, Long Distance Running, Surf Lifesaving and Triathlon from a very early age. I also studied Classical Ballet and Pilates for 14 years to Advanced level then branched off into Jazz, Contemporary, Tap, Spanish & Mexican Dancing and Acting for 4 years.

I studied to become a Personal Trainer in 2008 with The Fitness Institute of Australia and became a Personal Training Franchise Owner and 2IC Personal Training Manager at Fitness First in Rockdale, Newtown and Wollongong from 2008-2010.

Since leaving Fitness First, moving to the South Coast and having my first child in March 2011, I started up Mums Get Active in May 2011 as a means to meet other like-minded mums that wanted to get outdoors and stay fit, all while setting a good example for our children. I have gone on to have another two children in 2012 and 2013 and although they keep me very busy, I love keeping fit and continuing to motivate and inspire other women and also men, to be healthy and fit too.
